Ryan Frields, has worked with struggling teens since 1997 in wilderness and residential settings. He is a licensed counselor and the director of MMYR. He spends his time working with the boys on everything from overseeing counseling sessions, provides in the moment counseling, 1X1 and group therapy, tutoring school-work, parent contact, and working with the boys day-to-day struggles.
Jennifer Frields, has worked with at MMYR since 2004. Jennifer oversees logistics, bookeeping, and many of the day to day adventures. As a strong female role-model, Jennifer works with many of the boys that struggle with female authority figures. She is currently finishing her degree in Social Work.
Joe Frields, the founder of Mountain Meadow Youth Ranch spends time working with the students in daily activities, teaching life lessons, 12-step work, ranch chores, and giving experienced heart felt advice. Joe’s strong relationship with each boy allows him to be a strong role model and mentor.
Marilyn Frields, is the co-founder of MMYR. She takes care of staff coordination, staff educational classes, cooking guidelines and parameters, and setting up volunteer/community service projects.
Raoul Ribeiro, is an LSCW that spends his time at the ranch in group and/or individual therapy sessions. He has spent countless hours working with struggling teens in the Local High School setting, private sector, and as a contractor working with families. He was a welcome addition to the support staff of MMYR.
Francois Communetti, was a parent of 2 students that were enrolled in 20Peaks Ranch. He works with the students weekly as their Judo Instructor, as a summer course staff, works with the students during the year on building projects, cattle work, community service, and has a unique insight into how a parent views their struggling son.
Robin Foust, is a qualified mentor for the MMYR teens and is able to connect with them on an individual and empathetic level. She enjoys hands on work with the boys and also prepares many of the meals, assists with transportation, and has a hand in the logistical and administrative facets of the business.
Roseanne Lundberg, is a full-time special education aide at Thompson Falls High School. She works for Mountain Meadow Youth Ranch providing scholastic support/tutoring, cooking meals, student oversite at the local high school, and logistics.
Joe Ryan Frields, started working with MMYR as a Summer/Wilderness Staff Member. He is currently attending Western Montana College where he is earning a degree in Psychology. His experience living with the MMYR students as a teen and making his way into “college” life gives the boys the oppurtunity to ask questions regarding how he did it in todays world. His easy going personality allows the boys to be comfortable while receiving guidance from someone from their generation.
Shannon Chojnacky, fills several important roles as a tutor, life-mentor, and another strong-female role model for the teenage boys enrolled in MMYR. From tutoring the boys in school one day to building fence or bucking hay bales the next, Shannon shows them the value of working hard and perseverance in multiple “real” life experiences.
Payton Frields, is a junior wilderness/summer staff member of MMYR. His day-to-day involvement with the students at MMYR ranges from teaching them bow-drilling skills and building shelters to navigating proper treatment of other students and working on social skills. Growing up with the students of MMYR also gives him a unique insight into the many struggles MMYR students have experienced.
